This website

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the answer you optionally give to "what would you use it for?", and the signup time. We use this to invite you to early access, to occasionally send product updates, and for nothing else. We do not sell or share the list. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any email we send you.

The site uses privacy-respecting page analytics (aggregate visit counts). No advertising trackers.

The product (when it ships)

MyQuietShadow is built local-first. Speech recognition runs on your machine - your voice is not uploaded and never becomes training data. Dictation is push-to-talk (double-tap Ctrl). The optional screen memory holds a rolling 24 hours on your own disk and is overwritten automatically; only moments you explicitly keep are saved. Ambient audio capture is off until you turn it on. Visible indicators show when anything is listening or recording, a hard pause is one key away, and per-app exclusions let you keep specific windows out of the memory entirely.

If you record other people - for example calls, if you have enabled audio - laws in many places require their consent. That responsibility rests with you; the product gives you the controls to honor it. Our full reasoning is at our privacy stance.
